Fourth and One in Marriage

Marriage is sweet, and after two years, I'm in deep. Marriage is an adventure and I signed up for life. My contract never runs out. The stakes are high. I am an athlete and a coach. I'm disciplined and Meg is spontaneous. She is creative and I'm focused. We are a team and making it work. We invest in each other during each season of life and I write to married couples and singles because dudes don't write about this stuff. Man-cave time and watching ESPN is still important, yet I'm even more into leaving behind a legacy through my marriage and family. It's about making a greater impact than any one game victory. It is not a question of what's my top priority. I know my wife and family are most important. Please read and comment, because I know you are interested.

  1. Having just crossed the 20-year-line, I can say marriage is an adventure like none other. Your reference to legacy in particular caught my eye, because it is through marriage and family that I think we create our greatest legacies. The absolute best of luck to you and Meg on this wild, wacky and wonderful journey you've begun!
